These lyrics come from one of my favorite songs “Nothing Else” by Cody Carnes. It’s a song about the only thing that will satisfy our hearts. As a society we have been so caught up in the things around us and the hustle of life, that we forget to stay still, and remember what truly matters. In reality, it’s nothing. Nothing matters except God. The word in John 15 says:

“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.”

See our lives are in direct relation to our Father. We are nothing without Him. We can accomplish nothing. I don’t know where you find yourself today, whether at work, at home, at the gym, in the car, or in a cave…

Come back to your first LOVE.

I can’t promise that your life will be perfect, but I promise that you’ll never be the same.
